I love Village Medicine. Dr. Kira Baum and Dr. Tiffany Jaramillo have been INTEGRAL to restoring my health. I predominantly work with Dr. Baum on gut health and Dr. Jaramillo on hormone health. They are incredibly knowledgeable and they take their time to understand me holistically before making recommendations. Their recommendations always feel spot-on and true to me. They have helpful tests that have made me understand my body a lot more and that data guides us when making decisions together. Albeit, the tests can be expensive because they're *sometimes* not covered by insurance. They also encourage me to continue seeing my UW providers and ask for me to share my UW results with them. It never feels like "us" vs "them" which I appreciate. Another cool thing -- with my consent, they will talk about my case together to brainstorm and make better diagnoses/recommendations. I feel like that almost never happens in healthcare! I've had mostly good doctors throughout my life, but these ones take the cake! I agree with the other review that some of the front desk staff aren't very helpful. Although I've had other experiences that are totally fine. It really depends who you get. Overall, I highly recommend Village Medicine. Particularly Dr. Baum and Dr. Jaramillo, but I imagine other providers are great too.

I cannot start other than by saying this place changed my life in short. I really try to write something more "original" but this is just the truth. I knew what I needed, I just didn't know where to start and where to look for it. I was new to town and all I wanted was a good acupuncturist... After searching on google for a while I narrowed down to a few in the neighborhood. Dr. Kira Baum was one of them. When I read her Bio on Village Medicine´s website, I wanted to start working with her. The website was so easy to fill out those many forms and they responded me immediately. Booking me with Dr. Baum for the following week. I later established my primary care here with Dr. Daniels as well. Dr. Kira Baum listens to you very very deeply, and collects all the little details about you without overwhelming you. She follows up with you on all the important steps in your life to give you the best advice possible. Now I truly understand what a "holistic" approach means, before meeting Village Medicine I thought this was just another hip terms of our time! I have done one full year of monthly routine acupuncture treatments with Dr Baum to maintain my health and I have been following her advice on the supplements and other wellness routines. Whenever I feel under the weather I find really good remedies with her. I have returned to the good balance that I missed in my life both emotionally and physically. If you are looking for a peaceful and respectful place to get healthy, this is your place.

I came to Dr. Paul Miszczyszyn with a knee injury that wouldn’t heal despite trying various treatments. Dr. Miszczyszyn recommended prolotherapy using dextrose injections, a regenerative medicine approach that avoids steroids entirely. The results have been remarkable. I’'ve regained a significant portion of my mobility that I thought might be permanently lost. What sets Dr. Miszczyszyn apart is not just his medical expertise, but his exceptional bedside manner. He took the time to patiently explain every aspect of the treatment process, ensuring I understood what to expect. His kindness and compassion throughout my treatment made a challenging situation so much easier to navigate.

I have been with Dr. Tara Shelby for about 15 years now and so has my daughter. In this time, we have learned so much about our selves and how to manage our health. One of the most important things is addressing the root cause of illness and not just managing the symptoms. The education she provides along the way is so empowering. There is so much good about this Practice. Her team is amazing and they all work together. I continue to see her even from Montana, via tele health. Healthcare does not get any better than this folks.

Ballard Village medicine has been really great for me so far. However, there is one caveat. Since I started seeing Dr. Daniels, I truly believe I have made progress in my holistic health journey to heal my body from within. Dr. Daniels is super attentive and supportive, and I am glad I found her. The front desk staff though….less than extraordinary. I feel unwelcome every time I check in or leave the clinic. Not to mention most, if not all, of the front desk staff have virtually no answers to my questions (do I have to fill out all this form or where can I drop off my lab samples?). These are basic questions that I feel the front desk staff need to know to make the operations smooth at the clinic. I have been directed to do the wrong thing several times making me feel frustrated in the end. All in all, I personally left 4 stars because the practitioners at this clinic are phenomenal and I do not want the front desk staff to undermine their hard work.
